OBITUARY
Robert L. Armstrong, son of A. D. Armstrong and wife, died on Saturday, June 15th, 1918, at his home at Elma, Ia., after an illness of four months. The funeral took place at the Catholic Church at Elma, Ia., on June 17th and he was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery in Elma, Revs. Fathers Gunna and Bowen officiating. The pall bearers were his six brothers. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and three children, one boy and two girls, besides his father and mother, six brothers and one sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in Howard twp., Howard county, Iowa, on July 26, 1880 and was married to Miss Cora Ostrander on September 12, 1904. May he rest in peace.
Those from a distance attending his funeral were his two aunts, Mrs. Ellen Baker, of Preston, Minn., and Mrs. Ella Go{?}man of Canton, Minn., his brother-in-law, W. Lokie and wife, of McIntire, Ia., and wife’s uncle, Herman Huber and wife of North Washington, Iowa.
