Mr. and Mrs. Hauck received the sad news last Wednesday that their daughter, Mrs. Freda McKeen, of Minneapolis had passed away. The body was brought here and funeral service{s} were held from the M. E. Church Saturday afternoon. The full house and lovely flowers showed the high esteem in which she was held. Her husband, a sister, Mrs. Benson of Cleveland, O., and a friend, Mrs. Scott, accompanied the body to Lime Springs.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name spelled Frieda Makeen and that she was born Feb. 2, 1898 and died June 11, 1918. She is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
