OBITUARY.
Mrs. Mary Mullen passed away on Friday, April 26th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. J. Lowry, after an illness of nearly six weeks. The deceased was born in Ireland 88 years ago and had been a resident of Cresco for about 35 years. She leaves to mourn her loss, three daughters, Mrs. Lowry of Cresco, Mrs. Hughes, of Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. Creamer, of Crookston, Minnesota.
Her funeral was held on Monday last at the Church of the Assumption, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery beside the husband who preceded her in death about 30 years ago.
Mrs. Mullen was a kind mother, a good neighbor and friends, and a Christian woman who in every respect lived up to the high ideals of her religious faith.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1830 and is buried in Calvary Cresco Cemetery.
