Died—James Berka passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 30th, 1918, at his home north of town, The funeral was at the Holy Trinity Church Thursday, after which the remains were laid to rest in peace in the Holy Trinity cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Vaclav and that he was born Aug. 26, 1868.
