Mrs. Ed Tibbals died suddenly on her way to church. She started to church with her friend, Mrs. John Hoopman, but she had gone but a short distance when her heart began to trouble her. Being quite near the Rassler home, she decided to go in and wait a few minutes. A physician was summoned immediately but Mrs. Tibbals died a few seconds later.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Effie Anna. She was born Sept. 23, 1863 and died Jan. 27, 1918. She is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
