Word was received Wednesday morning of the death of J. B. Mullen, of Los Angeles, Cal. He was the only son of Mrs. Mary Mullen and brother of Mrs. J. J. Lowry and Mrs. Frank Cramer. Mr. Mullen left Cresco about thirty years ago, and was for many {years} connected with the railroads of the west, at one time being general passenger agent, but for the past few years he has been interested in fruits and fruit lands.
