Frank Sobolik, Sr., passed away at his home Wednesday after a long and painful illness. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Rudolph Lakomy at the Holy Trinity Church, Friday. The remains were laid to rest in the Holy Trinity cemetery. His wife six daughters, Mrs. Frank Lukes, Mrs. Frank Lentz, Mrs. John Polivka, Mrs. John Hrdina, Mrs. Joseph Wagner, Miss Abbie. Also four sons Frank, John, Charles and Lewis are left to mourn his death besides a large number of relatives and friends. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow.

Transcriber’s Note: Holy Trinity Cemetery records show his name as Frantisek. He was born May 26, 1850 and died Sept. 11, 1917.
