OBITUARY
PANKOW.
Irene Bertha Pankow, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pankow, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 11, 1903, and died at the home of her parents near Cresco, Iowa, on July 12, 1917, aged 14 years, 5 months and 1 day.
Irene was a kind and loving daughter and sister and was most dearly loved by all who knew her. Her untimely death was a sad blow to the family, and she will be greatly missed, not only by the family, but by a large circle of friends.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her father and mother, two brothers, three sisters and her aged grandfather.
Mr. and Mrs. Pankow have the deepest sympathy of neighbors and friends in this their time of sorrow and trouble.
