OBITUARY
VORDA.
John Vorda was born in Bohemia in 1872 and came to this country when a young man, making his home in the vicinity of Cresco. He was united in marriage to Miss Anna Ziechek in 1900 and to this union were born six children, five yf{sic} whom with the wife survive, one having preceded him in death a few years ago. He passed away on Thursday, July 26th and was buried the Saturday following at Protivin, Father Lakomy officiating.

Died—The funeral of John Vorda, who died Thursday, July 26th was held at the Holy Trinity Church, Saturday. The remains were laid to rest in the Holy Trinity cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow.
