CLARK.
James Edward Clark, only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Clark of Cresco, Iowa, was born at Valmont, Colo., on Aug. 19, 1906, and died at the home of his parents on July 4, 1917, aged 10 yrs., 10 months and 15 days. Jimmie, as he was familiarly called, was a bright and intelligent boy, and was of good health until within a few days of his death and was playing out of doors on Sunday preceding his death, which occurred on Wednesday morning. The best of physicians and kind and loving hands could not save him from the arms of the Great Reaper and his spirit passed to the home of the Father, leaving the hearts of his loved ones heavy with sorrow.
Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his loss, three sisters and many relatives and friends, all of whom have the sympathy of neighbors and friends in this their hour of sorrow.
Brief funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. A. Pettit, and the remains were laid to rest in Oak Lawn cemetery.

CARD OF THANKS
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Clark and family desire to express their thanks to both neighbors and friends who have aided them in time of trouble.
