The sad news was received on Thursday that George Linderman had died suddenly at Glasgow, Montana, and that Johnnie Linderman would bring the remains to Cresco, arriving on Friday evening. The funeral was held at the M. E. church on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Grabau officiating, and a very large congregation was present. Geo. was a very good citizen and well liked by all. He was born and had always lived here except the last few years. He leaves a widow and one son to mourn his loss, also three brothers and one sister. Those present from a distance were Fannie Jones, of Watertown, S. D., and Jay of Frankfort, S. D., and Ace and Abe, living in Washington could not get here. He was laid at rest in the Bristol Center Cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 1, 1864 and died Apr. 18. 1917. He is buried in the New Oregon Cemetery.
