Our community was greatly shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. James Finn, who was brought here a short time ago from Jamestown, N. D. Mrs. Finn will be remembered as Mary Eldridge.

Mrs. Jas. Finn of Florence, S. D., passed away Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. R. C. White. Funeral services were conducted at the house Wednesday at 2 p. m., Rev. Bockoven officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Oct. 26, 1852 and died Apr. 23, 1917. She is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
