H. C. Foulkes died suddenly Saturday forenoon from heart failure. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Welsh church. Among his children who came to attend the funeral are the following: Mrs. Edward Perry, Chicago, Dick Foulkes, North Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Robert Griffith, Saskatchewan, Canada, Robt. Foulkes, Ft. Atkinson, Wis., Mrs. Taylor, Canova, S. D., John Foulkes and Mrs. Rob. Hughes, Lime Springs. Mrs. H. C. Foulkes returned Saturday from Minneapolis.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born June 26, 1850 and died Apr. 17, 1917. He is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
