Rev. W. A. Bockoven was called to Michigan last week by the death of his mother. On account of his absence, his son Paul, a student at Carleton College, supplied the pulpit at the Congregational church. The young man supplies regularly at Taopi, Minn.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Rev. Bockoven’s mother was Caroline; however, it shows she died April 12, 1913 instead of as stated above. The date on the gravestone is illegible from the photo. She is buried in Crystal Lake Township Cemetery North in Frankfort, MI.
