OBITUARY
Harnoss.
Louis John Carl Harnoss, oldest child of Mr. Gottlieb Harnoss and his wife Mary, was born June 6, 1896, at Strawberry Point, Iowa, where he grew to young manhood. In 1912 he removed with his parents into the vicinity of Cresco. Machinery always held a fascination for him and so a long felt desire of his was gratified when he could leave the first week in January for Kansas City to attend an automobile school. After four weeks’ work he had an attack of pleurisy which finally developed into pneumonia. His father was called but soon it became apparent that the end was not far off. Feb. 16th he passed quietly away.
The funeral was held Wednesday last from Immanuel’s Lutheran church, his pastor J. Pless officiating. Burial was in New Oregon cemetery.
