Randy “Race” Reinhart age 65 of Cresco, Iowa passed away on Sunday December 25th, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
A visitation for Randy will be held at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco, Iowa on Thursday, December 29th, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Randy will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Randy Eugene Reinhart was born on August 19th, 1957, in Cresco, Iowa to Lyle and Violette (Krueger) Reinhart. He attended Howard-Winneshiek Schools graduating in 1975.
He was united in marriage to Linda Leeps to this union a son, Eric was born. They later divorced. On July 17th, 1993, he married Maureen McGee and welcomed a daughter and son, Kayla & Joey.
He was a long-time employee of Balks/Bruenings for 40+ years doing a variety of jobs. No matter the job, he always made sure to do his best and satisfy his customers. Randy was appreciated for his commitment to a job well-done. His hobbies were fishing, spending time with family & friends, watching sports & Westerns. He enjoyed going on vacations and listening to 80’s music.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen, son Eric (Monica) of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, daughter Kayla and son Joey of Cresco and honorary son, Dustin (Katy) Yu, two grandchildren Nathan and Sofia, siblings Dalene (Ken) Ollendieck, Sandra Reinhart, Debra (Larry) Hart, Teri (Dan) Vagts, brother-in-law Larry Hamand, many nieces and nephews, and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Gerald & Agnes McGee, siblings Karen Hamand, Beverly (Zack) Neubauer, and niece in infancy.
