FORMERLY OF CRESCO - Michael Patrick Carolan, age 67, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa after a long illness.
Mike was cremated and there will be a spreading of the ashes at a later date to be announced.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1954 to Nanci Carolan (Staebell) and Robert Joseph Carolan who have preceded him in death.
Mike was a graduate of Notre Dame High School with the Class of 1972.
He loved taking his canoe out on the Upper Iowa River and camping . He loved Mopar anything and collected Coke items. Mike had many valued friends and will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his two sisters, Sheila Thompson of Bloomington, Minn. and Kathleen Anderson of Nashville, Ind.; three nephews, Charlie Thompson of St Paul, Minn., Damian Carolan of Richfield, Minn. and Sean Anderson of Nashville, Ind. niece, Sheena Brings Plenty, husband Scott, and great-niece, Maleaha of Whittier, N.C.; his uncle, Michael Staebell of Muskeego, Wis.; and many other cousins.
