Mrs. Frank Klingle passed away last Friday afternoon, March 24th, at her home in the west part of town. The funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon, Rev. Pettit officiating, with burial at New Oregon Cemetery. Obituary later.

Caroline P. Fravel was born September 13, 1843, and died March 24, 1916, at the age of 72 years. She was born in Rhenish Bavaria, Germany, near Kaiser Lantern. She came with her parents to Buffalo, New York, in 1853, then moved to Stevenson county, Ill., where on March 4, 1862, she was married to Frank Klingle. In 1864 they came to Iowa and settled on a farm in Paris township, where they resided until two years ago they moved to Cresco, Iowa. To this union were born seven children, Franklin H. who died at the age of 15 years, John W., Mrs. R. J. Logue, Albert A. of Cresco, Phillip K. of Waukon, Ia., Charles A. of Forsyth, Mont., William E. of Minneapolis. She leaves a devoted husband, six children, five grandchildren, two brothers Henry of West Brook, Minn., William of Kinsley, Kansas, and many relatives and friends who will miss her here.
