SCHUETTE.
Fred Schuette was born in Germany, June 3, 1852, and was married to Louise Meyers, Feb. 3, 1892. Two children were born to bless this union. The daughter, Anna, preceded her father in death six years ago. Mr. Schuette passed away at his home in Cresco very suddenly, Friday night, Dec. 3rd, about 9 o'clock. Mr. Schuette's parents died while he was quite young. Having no brothers or sisters, he came to this country, living at Clarksville, Ia., until his marriage and then settled in Cresco where he remained until his death. The funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church by the Revs. Gammons and Kirwin and he was laid to rest at the New Oregon Cemetery beside the body of his daughter.
He leaves a loving wife and one son and many relatives and friends to mourn the loss of a dear and beloved husband and father.
