LUNDAK.
Victoria Hron was born in Bohemia in 1834. She was married there to Joseph Lundak in 1858 and in 1867 they immigrated to this country, settling in Howard county near where Protivin is now located. She passed away Aug. 29th at the home of her son John in New Oregon, at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 6 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and son, the only other child of this union dying in infancy.
The funeral was held Aug. 29th, conducted by Charles Pergler and the remains laid at rest in New Oregon cemetery.

Transriber’s Note: Her gravestone shows the name spelled Viktoria and also that she was born in 1836.
