HEINECKE.
Paulina Matilda Hecht was born May 16, 1846 in the Province of Pomerania, Germany. The family immigrated to this country, settling at Watertown, Wis. In 1869, the family moved to Howard county, where deceased lived until her death.
On the 14th day of April, 1873, she was united in marriage with Herman Heinecke, her surviving husband. This union was blessed with two children, a daughter who preceded her in death and a son Frebert. About six years ago, she was attacked by rheumatism which left her a helpless invalid. On Sunday last, Aug. 8, at ten o’clock in the evening she fell asleep, attaining the age of 69 years, 2 months and 22 days.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Immanuel’s Lutheran church, Rev. Pless officiating, with interment in Oak Lawn cemetery.Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone shows her name as Pauline and that she died Aug. 7, 1915.
