The angel of death has entered this community and has summoned from our midst a young wife and mother. Millie, the youngest daughter of James Praska was born Dec. 1, 1890, at Lourdes, Ia., and died July 30, 1915.
She grew to young womanhood in this community and made and kept many friends by her kind and sunny disposition, who will regret her early departure.
On Oct. 25, 1910, she was united in marriage to Louis F. Fisher. Their union was blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. Although she had been in ill health for the past few months, the news of her death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends. She was a patient and hopeful sufferer, always trying to be cheerful, even on her bed of pain. She wanted to live for her loved ones, not realizing death was so near, but God’s will be done not ours, and she reconciled herself to His holy will and entered that eternal sleep to await the final awakening to unite with her loved ones to part no more.
She was a firm believer in the Catholic faith and died in the full enjoyment of its last sacred rites.
She is survived by her grief stricken husband and two children, father, one sister and a large circle of relatives and friends.
The funeral was held from Our Lady of Lourdes church, Monday morning. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. J. J. Norris, at the close of which he paid a fitting tribute to the deceased. The remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
The grief stricken family has the sympathy of the entire community in this sad hour.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name was Emilia.
