ENRIGHT.
Mrs. Elizabeth Enright passed away early Monday morning, March 22, 1915, at the home of her grandson, John O’Brien. Deceased was born in Ashford county, Limerick, October 15, 1828, and was 86 years 7 months and 7 days old at the time of her death. She moved to Canada with her parents at the age of eight and lived in Wellington Square, at Lake Ontario.
In the year of 1843 she was married to John Enright by the Rev. Vicher McDonnell. In 1845 she moved from there to County Gray, Canada, where seven children were born to her, four of whom are living.
In 1857 she moved to Howard county and remained here until the time of her death. She was one of the real pioneers of the county; a good Christian mother honored and loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Enright leaves to mourn her loss four children, Mrs. Mary Ryan, of Nevada; J. F. Enright of Elma, Iowa; Mrs. John O'Brien, of Lourdes, and Mrs. Lizzie Dinger of Maple Leaf. Three brothers and one sister, Patrick, of Wilson, Wis., David, of St. Paul: William, of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Mrs. McCauly, of Glenwood. Her grandchildren numbered 30 and her great-grand-children 36. Her sons and two daughters and her brother David and 17 grand children were present at her funeral.
Her funeral took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Father Norris and the remains were laid at rest in Lourdes cemetery beside her husband who proceeded her in death.
