G. A. Lee was born in Valdres, Norway, Dec. 13, 1848, and came to America in 1877, locating at Decorah for two years. He returned to Norway in 1879 and was united in marriage to Marit Olson Norsween Dec. 11th of the same year, returning again to America in 1881 and has resided in Cresco ever since. To them 13 children were born all living but one who died in infancy.
