Mrs. Kate L. Weston Prann was born Nov. 6th, 1839, in Vermont. She moved to Howard county in 1858 with her parents and was married to Mr. Charles Prann in 1859, to which union was born four sons, A. W. Prann and F. J. Prann of Hermiston, Ore., Arthur Prann of Minneapolis, and W. E. Prann of Timber Lake, S. D.
She was united with the Baptist church in Vermont when she was 14 years of age and has been for many years a member of the Cresco Baptist church.
They moved from the farm to Cresco in 1898 where she resided until the time of her departure August 21, 1913.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. F. C. Shaffer and burial was in Oak Lawn.
