M. O. Mitchell received a telegram Tuesday forenoon telling of the death of his son Frank at San Francisco, Cal. No further particulars are known. Mr. Mitchell left for Seattle Tuesday noon, where the funeral services will be held.

Frank M. Mitchell was born in New Oregon twp., August 8, 1888, and died in San Francisco, Cal.
March 16, 1913, aged 21 years, 7 months and 8 days.
At the age of thirteen he became a member of the Cresco M. E. church.
He had been a member of the M. W. A. Camp 1344 since he was eighteen years of age, and was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose of Vancouver, B. C.
Most of his early life was spent in Vernon Springs twp., where he received his education, later going to Decorah, Iowa where he took a business course at Valder college.
From there he went to Seattle. Wash., where he learned the plasterer’s trade which occupation he followed until the time of his death.
On Feb. 22, 1909, he was united in marriage to Miss Winnie Lathrop. To this union was born one child, a son.
Two mon{th}s ago he went to San Francisco where he was working at his trade at the time of his death.
He leaves a wife, one child, Donald Wayne of Seattle, a father, M. O. Mitchell and brother. Leslie Mitchell of Cresco. His mother preceded him two years ago.
Funeral services were held in in{sic} Seattle Sunday, March 23, from the Home Undertaking parlors conducted by Rev. A. W. Brown, pastor of the Woodland Park M. E. church. Burial was in Lake View cemetery.
