Frank Dinger died Monday, the 17th, from dropsy. Mrs. Dinger and family have the sympathy of all.

Frank Dinger died at his home near Maple Leaf on Monday, February 17, 1913, after a lingering illness of nearly three years. Deceased was born in Pennsylvania, March 5, 1858. When he was four years of age his mother died and he moved with his father to Winneshiek County, Iowa. His father died when Frank was thirteen, thus leaving the young boy to travel life’s path alone. On February 14, 1893, Mr. Dinger married Elizabeth Enright. Four children blessed this union ; Lizzie, Frank, Dave and Mary. Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his loss, two brothers, Jake of Bluffton and Pat. of Decorah, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nassau of Minnesota and Mrs. Hutton of Cresco; two two {sic} half brothers, Will of Lowther and Sam of Howard Center, and one half sister, Mrs. Dempewolf, of Howard, South Dakota. The funeral was held from the Catholic church at Lourdes on Wednesday, February 19th, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Lourdes.
Mr. Dinger was an honest, industrious citizen, a loving husband and a good neighbor and was highly respected by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace,— Elma New Era.
