Died On Way Home.
Cary Sheets, a renter on the Dodd farm west of town, died last Thursday while on his way home from Elma where he had been doing some trading in company with his wife. He had no admonition of the impending stroke and during the day appeared to be in his usual good health. Toward evening they started home and when near the old tow mill site Mr. Sheets complained of not feeling well. His wife took the lines and drove into the first farm yard they came to, the Wm. Kinney place. Mr. Sheets was assisted into the house and medical assistance summoned, but the stricken man passed away in a few hours.
The family was originally from Indiana. They moved here last March from the central part of this state. Mr. Sheets is said to have been an exceptional good farmer and a man well liked by his neighbors. The remains were taken to Zionsville, Indiana Monday for burial. —Elma New Era.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Sheets Cemetery in Boone County, Indiana and that he was born May 24, 1856 and died Nov. 23, 1911.
