OBITUARY.
HARMON
Julius Harmon was born in West Rupert, Bemington county, Vermont, Sept. 24, 1845, and departed this life Nov. 2nd, 1911, aged 66 years, 1 month and 9 days.
In early boyhood he moved with the family to New York state, and after some years he moved to Wisconsin, then later he moved to Illinois. From Illinois he came to Iowa where he has lived for quite a number of years. He has been a resident of Cresco for nine years, has been a good citizen, and for some time has been a great sufferer. He was very patient, and bore it bravely until release came.
He leaves to mourn his loss three brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Butler, Nora, Ill., Mrs. Lucy Fravel, Cresco, Iowa, Mrs. Martha Davis, Grays, Lake county, Ill., Elon Harmon, Cottonwood, Custer county, California., David Harmon, Oelwein, Iowa., Benjamin Harmon, Iowa Falls, Iowa.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church, Rev. Bell officiating. Interment in New Oregon cemetery.
