MORTON, ILL. - Terry Gene Farnsworth, age 69, of Morton, Ill. passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home. He suffered from congestive heart failure.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. There will be no visitation. Mason and White Funeral Home in Washington, Ill. arranged his cremation.
Memorials may be made to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
Terry was born on July 24, 1950 in Cresco, Iowa to Gerald R. and Helen E. (Necas) Farnsworth (now deceased).
Terry had worked at Caterpillar Inc. in Morton and retired. He served in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, collecting guns and spending time with friends and family. He devoted a lot of his time to his church.
Terry is survived by his wife, Kerry; brothers, Donald (Nancy) Farnsworth of Conrad, Iowa and David (Jann) Farnsworth of Cresco; six children, Debbie (Wade) Hammel of Whitepine, Tenn., Tracy (Tracey) Ward of Manito, Ill., Russell (Jill) Farnsworth of Manito, Lori (Jason) Short of Manito, Christy Phillips of New York and Ian Rayner of Morton; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
