OBITUARY.
JOHNSON.
August Lionel Johnson, son of Martin and Belle Johnson, was born in Lime Springs, Iowa, August 30, 1882, and died at the family home in Cresco September 4, 1911, aged 29 years and four days.
The deceased moved with his parents to Cresco in 1900, since which time Cresco has been his home with the exception of a year at Tolley, N. D., where he had charge of a lumber yard, and about 18 months spent on a claim in the Rosebud reservation. During the latter years of his life, he was in partnership with his father in the contracting business.
The funeral was held at the home on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. L. Larsen officiating and the loved form laid at rest in Oak Lawn.
The stricken family have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavment, and the sympathy of the friends and the esteem in which Leo was held by all was made manifest by the large number who attended the funeral and by the wealth of beautiful floral tributes from his fellow lodge members, the firemen, and family and personal friends.
