Cresco relatives received a telegram Tuesday announcing the death that morning from typhoid fever of W. J. Hardy’s youngest daughter, Thelma, aged 13 years. The remains will be brought back from Scranton, N. D. leaving there yesterday. The funeral will take place at Granger.

Thelma, youngest daughter of W. J. Hardy was born in Howard County, Iowa, Sept. 23, 1899, and passed away Aug. 29, 1911 at the home at Scranton, N. D., aged eleven years, eleven months and six days. Death resulted from typhoid fever, after an illness of about three weeks. The remains were interred in the Granger cemetery Saturday last, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. H. J. Hinman.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Granger, MN; however they show her year of birth as 1898.
