GLASS.
Dorothy, the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Glass, was born in Cresco, Iowa, March 22, 1902 and grew up to beautiful and radiant girlhood in our community. In her early years she was the special pet and companion of her grandfather, the late Judge Upton and she did much to make his last days comfortable. The friendship between them was as beautiful as it was unusual. But every one loved her. Her happy face and cheerful disposition was a continual comfort to all her friends. She entered the public school at the age of five and in spite of repeated illnesses made her grade from year to year and was in the fourth grade at the time of her death. Her work was uniformly excellent. She She{sic} was also a constant attendant of the primary department of the Congregational Sunday school. She passed to a better world Monday morning, May 8, at 9 o'clock. The sympathy of the whole community go out to her parents in their great {a}ffliction.
The funeral was held in the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon, May 10th, and the body was interred at Oak Lawn. Mr. Hinman and Mr. Gammons conducted the service.
