Mrs. Walter Woodward, daughter of Carl Schultz, died at Charles City, Sunday last, and the remains were brought to Cresco on Monday. The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon at the Emmanuel's Lutheran church at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be at Oak Lawn.

WOODWARD
Emma Schultz was born in 1882 on the 12th day of April, the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schultz, in the vicinity of Cresco, where she grew to womanhood. Aug. 26, 1901, she was united in marriage with Walter Woodward, her surviving husband. Three children sprang from this union, two boys and one girl. About two years ago the family removed to Charles City where, after a short and violent illness, deceased passed away Sunday last, Feb. 12th, at the age of 28 years and ten months. Besides her husband and children, her parents, five brothers and four sisters mourn her early departure. May she rest in peace and the light of God shine upon her.
The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon at the German Lutheran church. Rev. Pless officiating. Interment at Oak Lawn.
