Death of Jimmy Epps.
James Chester Epps, son of Elisha Epps, was born March 30, 1892, at Clinton, Iowa, and was called to the higher life, August 29, 1912, at Los Angeles, California, death resulting from tuberculosis, at the age of 20 years, 4 months and 29 days. The funeral was held from the family residence on August 31st.
He was an upright, honest young man, loved and respected by all who knew him, and was as pure as the water which flowed from the snowcapped mountains. He was an obedient son and affectionate brother. Besides his bereaved parents, he leaves a beloved sister, Mrs. Nonie Moore, of Oelwein, Iowa, to mourn his loss.
