Susanna Bartholomew, sister of Geo. Bartholomew, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20th, aged 66 years. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon. Obituary later.

BARTHOLOMEW.
Susannah Bartholomew was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1846 and moved with her parents to Iowa in 1854. They settled in the southeast part of Winneshiek county, and moved to Howard county in 1865. After coming to Howard county, she taught school several terms. In 1892 she moved two miles northwest of Cresco where she lived until her death which came to her relief August 20, 1912. She united with the M. E. church in 1862 and was a constant member until her death. In 1905, she had a stroke of paralysis from which she never recovered, but was a patient sufferer to the last.
