Mrs. Theo. Gessel, Mary Graf and Mrs. John Graf of Maple Leaf attended the funeral of Joe Murphey of Lowther. His burial was at the Elma cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Calvary Elma Cemetery shows his name is spelled Murphy and that he was born January 26, 1850 and died June 28, 1912.
