Obituary of Mrs. Potter
Miss Honoria Wiley Dinsmore was born in North Conway, New Hampshire, Dec. 13th, 1823, and departed this life Feb. 11, 1912, aged 88 years, l month and 29 days.
She was married August 8th, 1844 to Lemuel Potter of Conway, New Hampshire, where they made their home for 11 years.
In 1855 they left their native state and journeyed to what was then a western wilderness, and settled in Howard county. Iowa. In 1866 she with her husband, moved to Cresco. Then later they removed to their home in Elma where they ended their days.
Mr. Potter preceeded his wife to the Eternal Home, answering the call of his Heavenly Father on Nov. 9, 1900.
Of the eleven children which were born to this union, only four survive:
Mrs. Etta McNeice of Minneapolis. Minn., Mrs. Nora Sisco of Kintyre, North Dakota, Mr. Everett Potter, Stockton, California, and Mrs. Elma Brandmill of Elma, Iowa.
Mrs. Potter was a consistent Christian devoting her life to the work of the Kingdom of her Master. In early life she became a member of the Greenville Baptist church and later joined the Congregational church of this city. — Elma New Era.
