Grandma Marshek passed away on Tuesday at 5 a. m., after an illness of several weeks. Thus another one of our pioneer mothers has gone to her reward after spending a long and useful life. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and the body laid to rest in the cemetery just south of town.

Transcriber's Note: The normal spelling of this name in this area is Mrachek; however, I couldn't find anyone with either spelling dying in 1912.
