Died in Arkansas.
Mrs. Charles Miller received a telegram Wednesday afternoon announcing the death that day of her husband at Hazen, Arkansas, a telegram announcing his illness having been received at Cresco the day previous. Mr. Miller had been there but a short time having went there from Washington where the family went last summer. Mr. Miller had bought land near Hazen and Dec. 27th, wrote his wife to delay coming until their goods arrived from Washington. Mr. Miller’s half brother, J. J. Lowry, telegraphed an order to ship the remains to Cresco, but is not yet known when the body will arrive. Mr. Miller left Cresco about ten years ago, after disposing of his interest in the hardware firm of Miller & Webber.Source: Twice-A-Week Plain Dealer Jan. 12, 1912, P-LP, C-7
