Pioneers Passing Away.
The Cresco P.-D. reports the death of two pioneers in Howard Co.
Alfred B. Chandler died in Riceville on the succeeding day at the advanced age of 85 years. He came to the county in 1855 and first located in Jamestown.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Mitchell County and was born January 10, 1817 and died January 13, 1902.
