Mrs. Mullen and family received the sad news, about one o’clock Thursday, that “Nody” who was teaching in Dakota was not expected to live, and a few hours later received the news of her death. They left on the Friday noon train for that place and at this writing nothing has been heard regarding her death. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of all in this sad bereavement. Hannah, or “Nody” as all of her friends called her, was a graduate of the Class of ’08, and last summer went west to teach. A letter was received from her just a few days before her death in which she stated that she was well, but as yet we know nothing in regard to the matter.
