There are several cases of diptheria at Maple Leaf; the 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dinger died from the disease Sunday night. The bereaved family have the sympathy of this whole community in their hour of trouble.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Loyd who was born in 1895 and is buried in the Howard Cemetery. The cemetery information shows he was born September 10, 1895.
