Kendallville people were sorry to hear of the death of M. T. James at his home at Armour, S. D., last week. Mr. James has been in very poor health for the past year. The body was brought back to Cresco for interment in the Oaklawn cemetery Friday. He had purchased the farm north of the Morgan church and with his family intended to move back soon. We understand Mrs. James and children and mother, Mrs. James Stockman, intend to move onto the farm in about a week.

Transcriber’s Note: Oak Lawn Cemetery records show he was born December 12, 1852 and died July 23, 1903.
