Mary Elizabeth McCartey, sister of the late Father McCartey, passed away about 10 o’clock this forenoon. Ill for several years, she has failed rapidly since her brother’s death, the shock of which undonbtedly hastened her death. The funeral will occur Thursday forenoon.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Calvary Cresco Cemetery shows she was born in 1842.
