Thos. Murray passed away at about six o'clock yesterday morning after a few weeks illness, although he has been feeble for a number of years. The funeral will occur Saturday morning at the Church of the Assumption.

OBITUARY.
Thomas Murray was born in Fon du Lac county, Wis., July 10, 1836, and died in Cresco, Iowa, May 27, 1909. He came to Howard county in 1869 and settled on a farm in Paris township where he lived until 1875, he then moved to Lourdes where he lived one year, and then went to Lime Springs, Iowa. In 1879 he came to Cresco where he has since resided. He was married to Mary Ann Ackerson, Aug. 11, 1861, she having preceeded him in death twelve years ago.
There are left to mourn his loss three sons and four daughters, all of which were with him in his last hours except one son and one daughter who could not get here.
Funeral was held from the Church of the Assumption May 29th, Rev. Father McCarty officiating. His remains were laid to rest in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
