Our community was saddened Satururday{sp} morning by the annoucement{sp} of the death of Mrs. Robert Owens. The grieving relatives and friends have the sympathy of all. The funeral was held Monday at 2:30 p. m., in the new Welch church.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary Owen who is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery and was born in 1829.
