On Thursday April 1st, occurred the death of a seventeen-year-old son of T. L. Bird, of Bonair, after an illness of some time from diabetes, although death was hastened by an attack of lagrippe. The funeral was held on Saturday last at the Church of the Assumption.

Transcriber’s Note: Calvary Cresco Cemetery shows this was Eugene . His gravestone shows he was born September 23, 1891 and died April 2, 1909.
