Mildred W. Shugrue, youngest daughter of Wm. and Jennie Shugrue, was born in Vernon Springs township, Howard county, Iowa, Sept. 19th, 1903, and died at Kalispell, Montana, Sunday evening, March 28th. About two weeks ago Mildred was stricken with illness which later developed in pneumonia resulting in death. There remain to mourn her loss her father, one sister and one brother, her mother and two brothers having preceded her to the spirit world. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Gammons were held at the home of Mrs. Sever on Thursday last. Interment was m New Oregon.
