Teri Jo Carver (65) , of Apple Valley Minnesota passed away January 31, 2019 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota, after a brief battle with cancer.

Teri was born on August 1, 1953, in Cresco Iowa. Teri graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1971 and attended Buena Vista University and University of South Dakota where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Special Education. Teri taught in education for 39 years. Teri’s children were the love of her life until the four grand kids came along. In retirement she loved to travel and always took her dog Rocco. She had the uncanny ability to talk to anyone, had an infectious laugh and will be missed dearly.

Preceded in death by her father, Floyd Carver; grandparents: Baird and Mary Lomas of Cresco and William and Eva Carver.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters: Angela Borchardt (Josh), Ashley Bougie (Joe); mother Maryeau Carver (Lomas); brothers: Jeff (Nancy), Kip (Rochel); grandkids: Toby, Roland, Chae, and Clay and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cresco on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:30 with a small family luncheon following to be held at the Cresco VFW.
